BROW TINTING: A semi-permanent dye to enhance your EYEBROWS
Brow tinting provides a similar look but for your eyebrows - go figure! It gives your eyebrows a polished, defined look using similar safe and natural dyes. Eyebrow tinting can darken and enhance the shape of your brows, helping them look thicker and more symmetrical (all without having to apply makeup). The results usually last about 4 weeks as new hair grows in, making it a low-maintenance way to keep your brows looking flawless.

What to Know About lash & eyeBrow Tinting
WHAT IS THE TINTING PROCESS?
Prior to applying tint to the lashes or the eyebrows, we’ll make sure to cleanse the surrounding area. If you get a lash tint, we’ll apply a barrier around your eye to protect the area and avoid any possible stains from the tint. After we have matched and selected the desired color to compliment your skin tone, our esthetician will mix the tint and apply it directly to your eyebrows. Depending on whether you choose the same color for your lashes, we’ll mix the second color if necessary and apply it to your lashes. The tint will sit on the treated areas for about 10 minutes.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LASH & BROW TINTING?
Those with light colored or blonde eyelashes will gain the highest benefit from an eyelash or brow tint as the tint will show a dramatic difference, making them look much more full. Regardless of your eyelash color, your lashes (and brows) will look thicker, darker, and remain natural after a tinting treatment.
HOW LONG DOES LASH TINTING TAKE?
Lash tinting is very quick! We’ll first match your brow and lash color. After selecting the perfect color, we’ll apply the dye to your lashes or brows letting it sit for about 10 minutes. We’ll then remove the dye and clean the treated area. You should be done with your appointment within 30-40 minutes.
HOW LONG DOES LASH TINT LAST?
Your lash tint will last about four weeks. The dye IS permanent, so the tint itself will not fade. However, new un-tinted lashes will grow in, causing you to notice your lashes lightening up. The same pertains to brows. For best results following your lash or brow tint, we recommend keeping your lashes dry for about 24 hours after your appointment. This means no showers, steam, makeup remover, or sweat!
DOES LASH or brow TINTING HURT?
Tinting does not hurt at all. The most discomfort you might feel are the protective shields that we place below your lash line during the treatment.
ARE THERE SIDE EFFECTS OF BROW AND LASH TINTING?
While tinting is a safe treatment when done correctly, there are some potential side effects. Side effects can include eye irritation and allergic reactions. At Gameela Skin we use tint that is specifically made for lashes and brows. If you experience any sort of side effects after your appointment please contact our esthetician or consult a doctor.
