As an esthetician, I've applied hundreds (maybe thousands) of face masks over the last 15 years, and here's something most people don't realize: the tool you use matters almost as much as the mask itself. Even a great formula can underdeliver if it's applied unevenly, wasted across your palms, or picking up bacteria from your hands before it ever reaches your skin.

After each use, rinse the bristles under warm water with mild soap or a facial cleanser and gently work through any leftover product with your fingertips, then lay it flat or hang it bristle-side down to dry.
